The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season New Trailer, Details Revealed

The official website of the historical mystery anime The Apothecary Diaries has revealed the main trailer for the 2nd season of the anime. The trailer features the opening theme “Hyakkaryōran” by Ikuta Lilas of Yoasobi.

A message from the latest cast member Seto Asami who will voice the maid Shisui, was posted. “I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to participate as a voice actor in this work, which is full of things that I love, such as the time setting, the incidents that take place, Maomao’s mystery-solving abilities, and how cool Jinshi-sama is.”
A new visual of the character was also unveiled.

The second season of The Apothecary Diaries is set to release on January 10.

About The Apothecary Diaries:
Maomao, an apothecary’s daughter, has been plucked from her peaceful life and sold to the lowest echelons of the imperial court. Now merely a maid, Maomao settles into her new mundane life and hides her extensive knowledge of medicine in order to avoid any unwanted attention.
