Studio MAPPA’s Original Anime Lazarus Receives New Details

Studio MAPPA’s official website for the sci-fi anime Lazarus has released a new key visual showcasing the miracle drug “Hapuna.”

The opening theme will be “Vortex” by Kamasi Washington and the ending theme will be “Lazarus” by The Boo Radleys.
Lazarus will be released in 2025.

About Lazarus:
The year is 2052.
The world is entering an unprecedented era of peace, and the painkiller “Hapuna,” developed by neuroscientist Dr. Skinner is the reason for it. Hapuna spread throughout the world as a “miracle drug” with no side effects, freeing mankind from pain. However, Skinner, the developer, suddenly disappeared, and no one knew where he was.
