The official website of slice-of-life anime Zatsu Tabi: That’s Journey has released the first promotional video showcasing an April 2025 release date.
The trailer features the opening theme “Tabi Shiyo! don’t you?” by harmoe. The ending theme will be “bookmarks” by Sizuk.
Two new cast members were announced:
- Hikasa Youko as Tenkuubashi Riri
- Satou Satomi as Koujiya Fuyune
Messages from the new cast were also shared:
- Hikasa Youko:
“When I read the original story of Zatsu Tabi, I realized that I love travelling because I had been to many places, including some obscure places. The journey is not rough but very fulfilling, so it makes you feel like you are travelling with the characters and makes you want to go on a trip. It is a story that allows you to learn about local specialities and the warmth of the people, so when I play Riri, I try to portray something that matches the atmosphere. I hope that travelling becomes something familiar to everyone!”

- Satou Satomi:
“Hello. I’m Satou Satomi, who plays Koujiya Fuyune. Do you all like travelling? I love it! I want to go to lots of different places, so I’m the type to make careful plans, but the kids in this show enjoy travelling in style, just as the title suggests…! While reading the script and the original work, I sometimes got worried, wondering ‘Are these kids okay?’, but when I saw Fuyune and the others enjoying all sorts of things on their trips, I got excited and thought ‘A trip like this might be fun, too.’ I would be happy if everyone who watches the anime could get a taste of travelling, or even go on a trip themselves. Hehehe. Look forward to the broadcast!”
