Uchuujin Muumuu First Trailer Released

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the comedy sci-fi anime Uchuujin Muumuu has released the first promotional video showcasing a spring 2025 release date.

Six new cast members were announced:

• Kase Yasuyuki as Decimal
• Kajiwara Gakuto as Tsurumi Akihiro
• Hibi Yuriko as Samezu Miwa
• Kiuchi Hidenobu as Tenkubashi Wataru
• Kumagai Kentarou as Rokugou Tamotsu
• Fujii Yukiyo as Kagetsu Sonoko

Kase Yasuyuki (Voice of Decimal):

“Ohhh… Hmm? A cat? What? A cat talking? That seems interesting… lol It’s a naughty cat… Eh? No? Maybe it’s cute. No, you can’t hate it, that’s Decimal lol What is the purpose of Muumuu and Decimal…? We are also having fun during our work while learning about home appliances on-site through our works. Look forward to educational, heartwarming, cute and fun works!”

Kajiwara Gakuto (Voice of Tsurumi Akihiro):

“I’m Kajiwara Gakuto, and I’ll be playing the role of Tsurumi Akihiro! This work is really fun to act in, and from the time of dubbing, we’ve all been laughing at the cast’s acting and the story. I’m always soothed by Muumuu, Decimal, and the other cats that appear in the show, and they’re so cute. Before I know it, I’m admiring the cats from Akihiro’s perspective lol. Hibi Yuriko (Voice of Samezu Miwa):

“It’s finally been revealed! I’m so happy! When I heard that I’d been cast as Samezu, I was confused, thinking, ‘Huh? I’m such an arrogant girl…???’ lol Being a follower of Akihiro♡, she openly hates Sakurako. She’s a modern girl with a lot of pride who loves ‘dark places’, but deep down she’s not a bad girl. It seems she’s also not unfamiliar with home appliances… I hope she adds a nice spice to the story! This work is ‘cats x school x home appliances!’ It’s very innovative!!! Kiuchi Hidenobu (Voice of Tenkubashi Wataru):

“It’s always funny. I always laugh at the recording site. Tenkubashi Wataru is the president of the university club “Humanity Regeneration Research Society” (formerly the Home Appliance Research Society) and is of unknown age. It’s a bizarre and outlandish role, so I’m worried about whether I’ll get caught in a complacent situation., but I’m having fun playing it. He’s foul-mouthed and has a twisted character, but he’s a kind person, so please be kind to him.”

Kumagai Kentarou (Voice of Rokugou Tamotsu):

“My name is Kumagai Kentarou, and I will be the voice of Rokugou Tamotsu. Rokugou is an ordinary guy who is often pushed around by eccentric people. I am playing him cheerfully and energetically! But who is Muumuu, the cute cat at first glance? He’s an alien, as the title says! This is a work that will teach you, make you laugh, and sometimes warm your heart. I hope you enjoy it!”

Fujii Yukiyo (Voice of Kagetsu Sonoko):

About Uchuujin Muumuu:
Muumuu is a cat-like alien who came to Earth from far away in space.
His goal is to learn about home appliance technology on Earth in order to recover the technology his race lost.
Sakurako’s ordinary college life is turned upside down by the arrival of Muumuu!
They unexpectedly start living together, and they become tangled in one commotion after another.
