Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Anime Sequel Announced With New Visual
The official website of the anime adaptation of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun has announced with a new teaser visual by original author Aida Iro that the anime’s second season will receive a sequel that will air every Sunday starting July 2025.
Aida Iro’s manga series began serialisation on December 18, 2014; the latest volume, volume 23, was released on December 27, 2024.
The anime adaptation’s first season aired between January 10, 2020, and March 27, 2020. The second season began airing on January 12, 2025, and ended today, March 30, 2025.

The most famous rumour about the Seven Mysteries passed down at Kamome Academy is that in the third stall of the girl's bathroom on the third floor of the old school building, there is Hanako-san, and they say that if you call her, she will grant any wish.
The method to call her is simple. Knock three times, then say:
"Hanako-san, Hanako-san, are you there?"
"Yes, yes..."
To have her wish granted, the occult-loving girl Yashiro Nene calls upon Hanako-san.
However, the one who appeared before her was a ghost boy, Hanako-kun.
