The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 Reveals Theme Song Artists in New Trailer
The Rising of the Shield Hero has released the first trailer for the anime’s fourth season on its official website, featuring the opening theme “Resolution” by MADKID.
The trailer also announced that Fujikawa Chiai will perform the ending theme “Eien ni Ikkai no”.
The Rising of the Shield Hero‘s fourth season will begin airing in July 2025.
The anime adaptation’s first season ran from January 9, 2019, to June 26, 2019. The latest season, season 3, ran from October 6, 2023, to December 22, 2023.
Publisher Media Factory released the first volume of Aneko Yusagi and Minami Seira’s The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel series on August 22, 2013. The latest volume, volume 22, was released on June 25, 2019.
Aiya Kyu’s manga adaptation began serialisation in Monthly Comic Flapper magazine on February 5, 2014. The latest volume, 27, was released on February 21, 2025.

Iwatani Naofumi, a 22-year-old otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to the otherworldly kingdom of Melromarc.
He is tasked with joining the Sword, Spear, and Bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero.
Excited by the prospect of a grand adventure, Naofumi sets off with his party. However, merely a few days later, he is betrayed and loses all his money, dignity, and respect.
Unable to trust anyone, he buys a slave girl named Raphtalia and takes on the Waves and the world that wronged him.
But will he find a way to overturn his desperate situation?
