The official website of The iDOLM@STER Million Live!, the spin-off of The iDOLM@STER anime TV series, has released the second promotional video for its upcoming OVA (Original Video Animation).
The video announces that studio Shirogumi will return as the studio in charge of animation.
Bandai Namco’s The iDOLM@STER franchise was originally released as a 2005 video game of the same name, later growing to numerous ports, sequels and spin-offs across multiple video game consoles.
The iDOLM@STER‘s first anime adaptation originally ran between July 8, 2011 and December 23, 2011, with 25 episodes total. The TV anime later received another special episode, 3 OVA episodes, and a movie, The iDOLM@STER Movie: Beyond the Brilliant Future!, released in Japan on January 25, 2014.
A manga adaptation of the series by Takahashi Tatsuya and mana was serialised in Monthly Comic Rex magazine between August 27, 2012, and August 27, 2016. The manga ended with 6 volumes and 42 chapters.
