Studio Chizu’s Original *Scarlet* Anime Movie Reveals November 21 Release Date in New Trailer
The official website for director Hosoda Mamoru and Studio Chizu’s original Scarlet anime movie has released a new trailer, showcasing the movie’s release date in Japan on November 21, 2025.
Scarlet will also open in U.S. theatres on December 12, 2025.
The site also unveiled a new visual.
Hosoda Mamoru’s previous works include The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars before he and Saito Yuichiro founded Studio Chizu in 2011.
Studio Chizu’s previous works include Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, and Belle, all of which were directed by Hosoda Mamoru.
