Studio 4°C’s Original Future Kid Takara Anime Reveals Release Date in New Special Video
NHK Enterprises and Studio 4°C have launched a new website and official X (formerly Twitter) account for their upcoming original anime, Future Kid Takara.
The new website released a new “special video”, showcasing a September 25, 2025 release date at the Osaka World Expo 2025.
The site also announced the two main cast members and shared their characters’ visuals.

Finally, the site unveiled a new key visual.
Future Kid Takara began with a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign on January 10, 2023, and has gathered over 3 million Yen through 196 backers as of March 25, 2025. The anime will feature 11 short 5-minute episodes teaching viewers about global warming.

Takara, a child from the future who has travelled back in time from the year 2100, explores the Earth, which is being affected by global warming, together with Sara and her friends.
They then become aware of the various actions we can take now to protect this beautiful Earth.
