Shin Samurai-den Yaiba New Cast Members Announced

The official website of the anime adaptation of Aoyama Gosho’s Yaiba manga series has announced two new cast members and shared their messages.

• Chiba Isshin as Kagetora
• Echigoya Kousuke as Shounosuke

• Chiba Isshin:

    So, I am Chiba Isshin, playing the role of Kagetora. I wasn’t able to appear in the previous work, so when I was given the opportunity to play Kagetora in this one, I was truly happy! Kagetora may not be able to speak words, but I keep in mind making it feel like conversations with Yaiba and the others are actually happening, all while enjoying the recording. The thrilling adventure with Yaiba and the others will begin soon! Please wait just a little longer.”

• Echigoya Kousuke:
  • “I am Echigoya Kousuke, and I will be playing Shounosuke. There is no way I can fully express my feelings within the character limit. It is that much of a legendary work for me. To finally set foot… no, set wings into Gosho Aoyama-sensei’s world is a great honour!!
