Sanda’s First Trailer Released

The official website of the mystery action anime Sanda has released the first promotional video showcasing a fall 2025 release date.

Two cast members were revealed:

• Murase Ayumu as Kazushige Sanda
• Touchi Hiroki as Santa Claus

  • Q1. Please tell us how you felt when you were chosen for the role of Sanda, and give a message to those looking forward to the series. “What is an adult? What is a child? I felt that this was a series that had the power to hit us with all its might, using a powerful story and characters as weapons, in response to these eternal questions. I really wanted to play Sanda, who is constantly shaken in the middle of all of this, so I was super happy! Please look forward to seeing how Paru-sensei’s unique personality is portrayed in the anime!”
    
  • Q2. This is an action series in which Santa Claus plays a major role, so is there anything you would like to ask Santa Claus for? “The second and third seasons of SANDA! Or rather, until the end!! We are still in the midst of rave reviews before the series airs, but with such wonderful original work, staff, and cast, I feel a great sense of accomplishment with each recording. I was very happy when I was chosen! Although I play Santa Claus, it is a difficult role because he is not just an old man, but also has the heart of a boy, but I threw myself into it. About Sanda:
The story starts with Sanda, a second year middle school student, getting attacked with a kitchen knife by his classmate Fuyumura. While Sanda couldn’t make sense of the situation at first, he gradually came to believe that Fuyumura’s actions were just mean acts stemming off from the latter having a peculiar puberty phase.
But that was all actually a misunderstanding. Fuyumura is seriously questioning if Sanda is actually the descendant of a certain family…
