ROAD59: Shin Jidai Ninkyou Tokku – Matenrou Monochrome Kousou Visual Novel Announced

The newly released website of upcoming supernatural visual novel ROAD59: Shin Jidai Ninkyou Tokku – Matenrou Monochrome Kousou has released a teaser trailer showcasing a fall 2025 release date.

Three character visuals and cast members were revealed:

• Sunagawa Shuya as Himuro Shou

• Nanami Hiroki as Hyuga Shion

• Minami Wakana as Himuro Suzuka

ROAD59: Shin Jidai Ninkyou Tokku – Matenrou Monochrome Kousou will be released for the Nintendo Switch and Steam, and will have Japanese voice-over with subtitles in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

In Tenkai Ward, gangsters with superhuman powers known as “Jingi” are engaged in a bloody conflict for survival. The protagonist, Himuro Shou, an ordinary and kind-hearted man born as the heir to the Komanami-gumi, is forced to take on the role of boss by the orders of his strict older sister, Shizuka. However, after the death of the previous boss, the Komanami-gumi’s influence weakens, and they are attacked by the Kurojo-gumi, which are gaining a presence in Tenkai Ward. To protect his precious family, Shou must make “impossible choices” with his own hands in the conflict in Tenkai Ward, where betrayal and desire swirl. But what will Shou gain from his own choices?
