A short interview with the new cast members was also shared:

  • Shimabukuro Miyuri (Voice of Draka):
    • Q1. What were your thoughts when you read the original story and script?
“I was fascinated by the heliocentric theory, trembling, and risking their lives to pursue the truth. I felt a sense of awe and at the same time, I found it beautiful.”
    • Q2. About your character Draka
“Draka has a good memory and thinking ability, and above all, she is strong-willed and courageous. After losing her father, she believes in “earning money” and does not believe in God itself. She is a little different from the previous characters and has a worldly side.”
    • Q3. A message to the fans
“Duraka, who is not well-versed in any academic field, will over the baton of the heliocentric theory that has been passed down until now. How will she come to know about the heliocentric theory, and how will she change through her conversations with people with different beliefs? Please look forward to it.”
  • Hino Satoshi (Voice of Schmitt):
    • Q1. What were your thoughts when you read the original story and script?
“It was as if I was witnessing a history that we cannot actually see, and I was overwhelmed and deeply moved by the realism and romance. It reminded me of the importance of always questioning, thinking about, and facing the things we take for granted in our lives.”
    • Q2. About your character Schmitt
“Schmitt is a person who is critical of materialistic thinking and acts on the principle of “nature worship,” which believes that gods reside in natural phenomena. At first glance, he may seem like an oddball, but he has a very philosophical view of life and death and is always able to make calm decisions.”
    • Q3. A message to the fans
“It’s a story with a very grand and deep theme, and I think many people are fascinated by the way people lived their lives, risking their lives to make a move that would change history. I am of them. I am happy to be able to participate of the cast members in the anime adaptation of this wonderful work. I hope you will enjoy the broadcast.”

About Orb: On the Movements of the Earth:
In a certain European country in the 15th century, a child prodigy named Rafal was allowed to skip a grade and enter university.
In response to the expectations of those around him, he declared that he would major in theology, which was considered the most important subject at the time. However, he is unable to abandon his passion for astronomy, which he has been passionate about for a long time.
One day, he meets an enigmatic scholar named Hubert.
Hubert had been tortured and imprisoned for touching upon a taboo based on heretical thought.
The subject he was researching was a shocking “hypothesis” about the universe…
