New Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4 Details Announced
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of publisher TO Books has announced that the fantasy isekai anime Ascendance of a Bookworm will receive a new season in 2026.
The new season will adapt “Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke” of the light novel. WIT Studio will take over animation production from Studio Ajia-do, which animated the first three seasons.
It was also announced that the light novel’s third short story collection will be released on December 10.

Urano Motosu, a book-loving college student, dies buried under a pile of books, and when she wakes up, she finds herself reincarnated as a sickly girl named Myne in another world. Myne thinks that if she has books, she can endure any environment. She immediately searches the whole house for books, but can’t find any anywhere.
