Nara Ippei’s *The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer* Manga Receives Anime Adaptation
A newly launched official website and X (formerly Twitter) account announced that Nara Ippei’s The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer manga series will receive an anime adaptation by studio HORNETS.
The site also released a teaser promotional video, a teaser visual, and a celebratory visual by the original author, Nara Ippei.
Finally, the site announced the two main cast members and shared their characters’ visuals.

- Suzushiro Sayumi as Lily
Kodansha began serialising the manga series in their Bessatsu Shounen Magazine on January 9, 2016. The latest chapter, chapter 110, was released on April 9, 2025.

Having spent his childhood in the slums, desperately seeking strength to survive, Shinonome Hajime now lives a carefree life as a village-affiliated adventurer.
One day, while exploring a dungeon on a quest, he finds a girl about to be eaten by the weakest monster, a slime!
The girl's name is Lily.
She had entered the dungeon alone to survive after being abandoned by her parents and having nowhere else to go.
Hajime can't bring himself to leave her because her story reminds him of his similar past, and he takes her under his care.
