Cast Messages:
- Ootsuka Takeo:
- “Judging from the title, I thought this work might have a pop-like story just from the title,
but that wasn’t all there was.
If you watch the first episode, I’m sure you’ll be excited to see how the story unfolds.
The anime’s composition is also wonderfully done, so whether you’re familiar with the original work and the manga adaptation or encountering it for the first time, I would be delighted if you look forward to the broadcast.
Everyone, please give your support to ‘Sutetsuyo!'”

- Mizuno Saku:
- “I am Mizuno Saku,
and I will be playing the role of Amelia Rosequartz!
Amelia is like a cat, and the expressions she shows only to the protagonist, Akira, are very cute.
As the story progresses, she becomes even more lovable, and I would be happy if I could bring that charm to everyone.
The script stays faithful to the original work, and the battle scenes have been meticulously crafted.
There are so many moments that make me think, ‘I want to see this scene as soon as possible…!’
I feel truly honoured to be involved in such a wonderful production.
I hope everyone is looking forward to it!”

The site also shared a message from the original creator, Akai Matsuri, and celebratory illustrations from light novel artist Touzai and manga artist Aigamo Hiroyuki.

And finally, the site unveiled the first key visual of the anime.

About My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s:
A high school student, Oda Akira and his classmates are summoned to another world.
Through the summoning, all of his classmates are granted cheat abilities, while he, perhaps due to his naturally weak presence, acquires the unremarkable ability of an “Assassin.”
However, despite being just an “Assassin,” his status values far surpass even those of the strongest job, the “Hero”!?
Growing suspicious of the words and actions of the king who orchestrated the summoning, Akira conceals his existence and uncovers the conspiracy, only to be falsely accused and forced into a life on the run.
Swearing revenge against the king, he flees into the unexplored depths of an uncharted labyrinth, where he encounters an elf girl named Amelia.
This is the story of a boy who gained the ability of an “Assassin,” met an elf girl, and reached the path of becoming a true “Assassin.”
