My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Release Date Announced
Umeda Shuuichirou, Mamiya Yasuhiro, and Hasegawa Ikumi join the cast
The official website of the anime adaptation of Furuhashi Hideyuki’s My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off series based on Horikoshi Kouhei’s My Hero Academia manga series has released a new trailer showcasing an April 7 release date.
The three main characters’ visuals and cast members were revealed:
- Umeda Shuuichirou as Haimawari Kouichi
- Mamiya Yasuhiro as Knuckleduster
- Hasegawa Ikumi as Haneyama Kazuho/Pop☆Step

“Congratulations on the anime adaptation of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes!
I’m Umeda Shuuichirou, and I’ve been entrusted with the role of Haimawari Kouichi.
Usually, he’s unreliable… often misreading the room…
But in crucial moments, he can take that first step everyone else hesitates to take.
I hope you will witness how Kouichi spends his vibrant, everyday life with others and how he challenges himself to protect them with all of his might.
Just as Kouichi admired All Might,
I also looked up to Deku and the others when I decided to become a voice actor.

“I’m Mamiya Yasuhiro, and I will be playing Knuckleduster.
The “Vigilantes” are a righteous group cracking down on the illegal drug Trigger.
Among them is the particularly fiery old geezer with iron fists, Knuckleduster.
Since I had already appeared in the main My Hero Academia series as Gigantomachia, I had half given up on the audition.
But to have been chosen for this role, could it be a fleeting dream or an illusion?
Alright, Vigilante fans!

and though Pop’s stubborn personality sometimes throws me off,
I’m giving my all every day to be her greatest understanding friend!
