MF Ghost Anime Third Season Announced, Manga Ends

The official website of the anime adaptation of Shigeno Shuuichi’s MF Ghost manga series has released a video commemorating the end of the manga’s serialisation and announcing a third season of the anime will be released in 2026.

The site also shared celebratory messages from five of the cast members.

• Uchida Yuuma (voice of Katagiri Kanata)
  • “I was really moved by Shigeno-sensei’s passion for cars.
    Seeing Kanata dedicate himself to facing cars head-on and pushing his own limits gave me courage and strength. In the MF Ghost anime’s 3rd season, I want to carry on the spirit of the original work and deliver it to many people.
    Thank you very much for your hard work on the serialisation of MF Ghost!!”

• Kamiya Hiroshi (voice of Michael Beckenbauer):
  • “Shigeno-sensei depicts the extraordinary using things that exist in everyday life and allows even someone like me, who is unfamiliar with the subject, to understand and catch a glimpse of the world seen by professionals.
    Congratulations on the completion of MF Ghost. I am proud to have been part of what Shigeno-sensei created in the animation!”

• Ono Daisuke (voice of Aiba Shun):

    And thank you for your hard work in completing the long and intense race that was its serialisation.

The site also unveiled a celebratory illustration by character designer Onda Naoyuki for the announcement of the third season.

MF Ghost manga series started serialisation in the Weekly Young Magazine on September 4, 2017.
