Kaiju No.8 Season 2 Release Date Announced

The official website of the action sci-fi anime Kaiju No. 8 has announced the second season will be released in July 2025.
A new key visual featuring the first unit captain, Narumi Gen, was unveiled.

About Kaiju No. 8:
In a world where kaiju threaten people on a daily basis, Hibino Kafka, who aspired to join the “Japan Defence Force” that exterminates kaiju, works in a kaiju cleaning business. He eventually gives up on his dream, but after seeing the exploits of his childhood friend, Captain of the 3rd Unit, Ashiro Mina, with whom he once swore to “annihilate all the kaiju together,” and meeting his junior, Ichikawa Reno, who is also aiming to join the defence force, Kafka begins to pursue his dream again. However, just as he is about to do so, he is transformed into a “kaiju” with great powers by a mysterious small kaiju! Dubbed “Kaiju No. 8,” Kafka is chased by the whole of Japan, but he still refuses to give up on his dream of becoming a defence force member and continues to face kaiju disasters.
