Introduction to Mineralogy First Promo Video Reveals New Cast Members
The official website of the anime adaptation of Shibuya Keiichirou’s Introduction to Mineralogy manga series has released the first promotional video announcing three new cast members.
New Cast Members:
- Miyamoto Yume as Imari Youko
- Hayashi Saki as Seto Shouko
- Yamada Misuzu as Kasamaru Aoi
Introduction to Mineralogy‘s anime will begin airing in 2025.
Introduction to Mineralogy‘s manga series began serialisation in Harta magazine on August 10, 2019. The latest volume, volume 5, was released on September 13, 2024.

High school girl Tanigawa Ruri, who loves sparkling things, thinks, "Maybe I can find some too!" and heads to the mountains searching for crystals.
There, she meets graduate student Arato Nagi, who specializes in mineralogy. They end up collecting minerals together.
At times, they walk mountain paths searching for crystals. At times, they wade into a river to pick up garnets. At times, they look at unknown minerals through a microscope.
Led by Nagi, Ruri steps into the world of mineral collecting.
"I'm sure I can find some too."
It is a dream that everyone has had at least once.
A full-scale science adventure begins.
