First Details for The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries Revealed

The official website of the supernatural mystery anime The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries has released a new promotional video showcasing an April 2025 release date.

Two new cast members have been announced:

• Konishi Katsuyuki as Chuuzenji Akihiko
• Maeda Kaori as Kusakabe Kanna

Konishi Katsuyuki (Chuuzenji Akihiko):
“Hello everyone. It’s Konishi. I never thought the day would come when I would get to play the role of Chuuzenji Akihiko. I’m so nervous I’m shaking. I knew about the Kyogokudo series and the like, so I feel a lot of responsibility and pressure. I’m looking forward to seeing how Chuuzenji-sensei’s atmosphere is portrayed in the anime. I hope everyone will look forward to it too! Thank you!

Maeda Kaori (Kusakabe Kanna):
My name is Maeda Kaori, and I will be playing the role of Kusakabe Kanna. The story is told from Kanna’s perspective as Chuuzenji-sensei solves the mystery, but there are also moments that will make you chuckle and send shivers down your spine, making it a work that I think you can easily fit into your everyday lives and enjoy! Since the story is set in the Showa era, I hope you enjoy the Showa retro worldview! Look forward to it!

About The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries:
This is a story set before Kyogokudo the Fortune Teller opened his second-hand bookstore. The setting is Tokyo in 1948, shortly after the war. Kusakabe Kanna, a second-year at a new high school, meets Chuuzenji Akihiko, a new Japanese teacher. All around Kanna, strange and bizarre incidents related to the supernatural occur one after the other. Today, once again, Kanna calls for help as she opens the door to the library preparation room, where Chuuzenji, a grim-faced teacher, is waiting for her. This is where it all begins! A strange and bizarre tale of youth at school brought to you by the mismatched duo of a teacher and a female student.
