April Showers Bring May Flowers New Promo Video Reveals Release Date, New Cast Members
The official website of the anime adaptation of Sakura Roku’s April Showers Bring May Flowers manga series has released a new promotional video showcasing a July 4, 2025, release date.
The video also features the opening theme, “BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu)” by TWS. The ending theme will be “Souvenir” by GLASGOW.
The site also announced two new cast members and shared their characters’ visuals.
New Cast Members:
- Hatanaka Tasuku as Shinbashi Tsutomu
- Koichi Makoto as Ueno Keisuke
Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace magazine serialised the manga series from April 4, 2016, to September 2, 2022. The series ended with 12 volumes and 74 chapters in total.

Tabata Hana is an unpopular high school girl who lacks confidence in her appearance.
She longs for love, like in a Shoujo manga, but because of her extremely negative thinking, she always spends her time quietly in the classroom corner.
However, her high school life changes when, early one morning in the classroom, the handsome Ueno Yousuke, the head of the school caste, witnesses her in an embarrassing situation!
After that incident, she starts interacting with Yousuke and even her classmates, and before she knows it, the world around Hana begins to grow livelier!
