Alice in Wonderland -Dive in Wonderland- Release Date Announced

The newly released official website of the anime movie adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, titled Alice in Wonderland -Dive in Wonderland-, has released the first teaser trailer, showcasing an August 29 release date.
P.A. Works will be responsible for the production of the anime.

The two main cast members were announced:

• Hara Nanoka as Rise
• Pugh Maika (Voice-Acting Debut) as Alice

• Hara Nanoka:
  “I never expected to be offered another voice-acting role in an animation, so I was incredibly happy.
  It had been quite a while since my last dubbing session, so I was very nervous. However, the joy of being involved in the production of an anime I love was so overwhelming that I found the dubbing sessions so enjoyable that I wished I could stay in front of the microphone forever.
  The protagonist, Rise, is a character that many people, myself included, can relate to.
  This work has a mysterious charm, where every word the characters speak feels like it’s being directed personally at you.
  It’s a creation that combines the soothing beauty of an enchanting wonderland with moments that deliver profound realizations. I believe it’s a story that will reach the hearts of many people, from children to adults. I would be delighted if you looked forward to its release as much as I do.”
  

• Pugh Maika:
  “Since I love voice acting, I was so thrilled to hear that I’d be playing the role of Alice that I jumped for joy.
  Alice has a bright and energetic personality, so while performing, I used various expressions and adjusted the intensity and volume of my voice depending on the scene.
  I hope this movie will be something families and friends can enjoy together.

The first key visual was unveiled.
