‘ anime adaptation has released the first teaser promotional video for the second season via its official website, featuring the ending theme “Anata de Nakucha” by 22/7 and showcasing a July 2025 release date.
The video also announces that studio Okuruto Noboru will be in charge of the animation, taking over from studios SynergySP and Shin-Ei Animation, which were in charge of the first season’s animation.

The site also announced that voice actress Youmiya Hina will join the cast as Mochizuki Ai and shared the visuals for all five main characters.

Yoshikawa Miki’s A Couple of Cuckoos manga series originally began serialisation in Weekly Shounen Magazine on January 29, 2020, and the latest chapter, chapter 244, was released on April 2, 2025.
The first season of the anime adaptation aired between April 24, 2022, and October 2, 2022, with 24 episodes total.
