Uncle from Another World

After being hit by a truck, Yousuke “Ojisan” Shibazaki, the uncle of Takafumi Takaoka, falls into a coma that lasts for 17 years. Upon waking, Ojisan starts speaking in an unfamiliar language and shares tales of his adventures in a mystical realm named Gran Bahamal. Initially skeptical, Takafumi becomes a believer when he witnesses Ojisan perform a spell that levitates a cup of water. Seizing the opportunity, they launch a YouTube channel to display Ojisan’s magical skills.

Takafumi now bears the duty of updating Ojisan on everything he missed, including developments in technology and the internet. He also has to break the news of the ’90s console war’s outcome, a sore point for Ojisan, a devoted SEGA supporter. With Ojisan’s knowledge from Gran Bahamal, they expand their YouTube presence, engaging with viewers and managing online negativity. The adventures of Takafumi and his uncle are set to be extraordinary.
