The Eminence in Shadow

Minoru Kagenou has always been obsessed with becoming the strongest, engaging in intense training from a young age. Unlike most, his goal wasn’t to stand out but to merge unnoticed into daily life. By day, he acted as an ordinary student, but by night, he fought local biker gangs with a crowbar. His life takes a drastic turn when he’s involved in a truck accident, which seemingly ends his journey. As he faces death, Minoru reflects on his limitations as a human, unable to surpass certain boundaries despite his efforts.

However, death is not the end for Minoru. He wakes up in a different world as Cid Kagenou, the second son of a noble family in a realm where magic is real. Seizing this chance, he adopts the alias “Shadow” and sets up an organization called Shadow Garden. Its mission is to take down the Cult of Diablos, a dark group stemming from Cid’s own fantasies. As Shadow Garden’s influence and numbers swell, the lines between fiction and reality blur, revealing that the Cult of Diablos might be more than just a figment of Cid’s imagination.
