Since the launch of the groundbreaking NerveGear, players worldwide have explored the depths of immersive virtual reality. Sword Art Online (SAO), the latest game for this system, transports players to Aincrad, a detailed medieval realm. This game has revolutionized the gaming experience, making it incredibly realistic.
Yet, this dream quickly turns into a horrifying reality when the creator of SAO confines thousands of players within the game. The escape option is disabled, and the only way out is to conquer all 100 challenging levels of Aincrad. To make matters worse, any death in the game means the player also dies in real life.
Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya, who had early access to the game as a beta-tester, realizes that his prior experience isn’t enough to tackle SAO’s hurdles by himself. He joins forces with Asuna Yuuki and other skilled players, attempting to navigate the perilous obstacles together. However, formidable bosses and sinister dark cults stand in their way, proving that defeating these challenges is no simple task.
