Shakugan no Shana: Season I

In a world overrun by Crimson Denizens, sinister entities from another dimension who feast on human life energy, humanity is in peril. These ruthless beings leave behind only “Torches,” faint remnants of souls destined to vanish, erasing all memory of the person from existence. To combat this unseen carnage, a group of warriors known as Flame Hazes wage relentless battles against these monsters.

Yuuji Sakai, once a normal high school student, finds his life upended when he’s caught in a temporal rift and attacked by a Denizen. A mysterious young girl with fiery eyes and crimson hair, a Flame Haze, saves him in the last moment. Yet, before Yuuji can grasp his new reality, he realizes he has become a Torch—a fading echo of himself soon to be snuffed out.
