Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Middle schoolers Kaname Madoka and Miki Sayaka live ordinary lives until they meet Kyuubey, a cat-like magical familiar, and Akemi Homura, a newly transferred student. Kyuubey proposes a deal: he’ll grant any wish they desire, but in return, they must transform into magical girls with powers to achieve their dreams. However, Homura, who is already a magical girl, warns them against agreeing, hinting that the reality of their situation isn’t as straightforward as it seems.
