My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU

Hikigaya Hachiman is a high school student who doesn’t care about much and tends to view the world through a cynical lens. He’s convinced that the concept of a happy adolescence is a complete sham, and anyone who argues otherwise is just fooling themselves.

As a unique punishment for his cynical essay on modern social relationships, Hachiman’s teacher compels him to join the Volunteer Service Club. This club’s mission is to assist any student needing help to reach their personal objectives. The only other member of this club is the stunning but aloof Yukinoshita Yukino, placing Hachiman right in the middle of other people’s issues—a scenario he never anticipated being part of.

Together, Hachiman and Yukino deploy their sharp intellects to tackle the problems of their peers. The big question remains: will Hachiman’s bleak perspective on society be an obstacle, or will it become a strategic asset?
