In 1868, Dario Brando seemingly rescues English nobleman George Joestar and his son Jonathan from a deadly carriage accident. However, Dario’s true intentions were to loot their possessions, thinking they were already dead. Despite this, after Dario passes away twelve years later, George adopts Dario’s son Dio, attempting to repay what he thought was a life-saving act.
Dio, while pretending to cherish his new home and family, secretly schemes to usurp the Joestar wealth. He strategically starts undermining Jonathan, creating tension between him and George to secure his position within the family. This rivalry escalates until Jonathan finally stands up to his manipulative brother, beating Dio in a fierce confrontation.
As time passes, Dio and Jonathan seem to reconcile and become good friends in the public eye. However, the peace is short-lived. When George becomes mysteriously ill, Jonathan suspects Dio’s involvement, hinting that Dio might still have some deceptive plans in play. [Adapted from MAL]
