Chainsaw Man

Robbed of a normal teenage life, Denji carries the heavy burden of his father’s massive debts. His only ally in this tough life is Pochita, his pet chainsaw devil, who helps him hunt other devils for money that only serves to fill the yakuza’s pockets. Denji’s biggest wish is to lead a simple, happy life—enjoying tasty meals and spending time with a lovely girlfriend. However, a treacherous act by the yakuza ends his life violently, shattering all his dreams of happiness.

In an unexpected turn of events, a previous agreement allows Pochita to merge with Denji’s body upon his death, granting him powerful devil abilities and the capability to turn his limbs into chainsaws. With these new powers, Denji becomes a potential threat to society, catching the attention of Makima, a top devil hunter from the Public Safety Bureau. She offers him protection and a chance at the peaceful life he desires, under the condition that he follows her orders. Motivated by the prospect of fulfilling his simple dreams and the allure of a beautiful woman’s company, Denji throws himself wholeheartedly into battling devils.
