Cardcaptor Sakura

Sakura Kinomoto, a typical ten-year-old fourth-grader from Tomoeda, finds her life turned upside down when she accidentally discovers an old book named “The Clow.” While examining it, she unwittingly releases a magical whirlwind that disperses its cards throughout the city.

This incident awakens Keroberos—often called “Kero”—the Beast of the Seal, who explains to Sakura that she has liberated the “Clow Cards.” These cards, crafted by the magician Clow Reed, possess autonomous powers and were sealed due to their immense potential for destruction. Now that the cards are loose, they threaten the safety of the world, making it Sakura’s responsibility to capture them.

Kero, designating Sakura as the “Cardcaptor” and bestowing upon her the Sealed Key, charges her with the task of retrieving all the Clow Cards. Assisted by her best friend, Tomoyo Daidouji, and under Kero’s mentorship, Sakura must juggle her newfound magical role with her day-to-day challenges, embarking on enchanting escapades as Cardcaptor Sakura.
