Haunted by thoughts of what might have been, Isagi returns home only to find an invitation from the Japan Football Union. Despite the seemingly random selection process, Isagi is among three hundred U-18 strikers chosen for the controversial Blue Lock project.

This initiative aims to develop the ultimate striker for Japan’s national team by pitting the selected players against each other in various individual and team-based challenges. Though he has reservations about the project’s aggressive nature, Isagi decides to set these aside and engage fully in the competition. His goal is clear: to outperform the other 299 hopefuls and secure his place at the pinnacle of Japanese soccer.
