*Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus* Reveals Release Date and Theme Songs in New Promo Video
The official X (Formerly Twitter) account of the Rascal Does Not Dream series anime adaptation has released the second promotional video for the upcoming instalment, Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus.
The video showcases a July 5, 2025, release date.
The video also features the opening theme song “Snowdrop” by Conton Candy, and the ending theme song “Suiheisen wa Boku no Furukizu” by the characters Uzuki Hirokawa (CV: Amamiya Sora), Akagi Ikumi (CV: Yamane Aya), Himeji Sara (CV: Kohara Konomi), and Kirishima Touko (CV: Ueda Reina).
The X account also unveiled a new key visual.
Publisher ASCII Media Works released the first volume of Kamoshida Hajime and Mizoguchi Keiji’s Rascal Does Not Dream light novel series on April 10, 2014. The last volume, volume 15, was released on October 10, 2024.
The anime adaptation’s first season aired between October 4, 2018, and December 27, 2018. The latest instalment, the movie Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid, was released in Japan on December 1, 2023.

Puberty Syndrome is a mysterious phenomenon rumoured to be caused by an unstable mental state.
During his high school years, Azusagawa Sakuta encountered several girls who suffered from puberty syndrome. Together with Sakurajima Mai, a nationally beloved actress and his girlfriend, he entered university.
There, he spots a Santa Claus in a miniskirt, completely out of season.
"You can see me? I'm surprised."
A line that sounded familiar.
The miniskirt Santa says to Sakuta:
"...My name is Touko Kirishima."
