The official website of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars franchise announced during its Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 event that the third volume of Star Wars: Visions, an anthology series, will debut on October 29.
The site also announced Star Wars: Visions Presents—The Ninth Jedi, a spin-off series based on the first volume’s The Ninth Jedi episode, directed by Kamiyama Kenji.

A teaser trailer released on Star Wars‘ official X (Formerly Twitter) account revealed that nine animation studios are working on the Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 episodes.

The first volume of the Star Wars: Visions series was released on September 22, 2021, and the second on May 4, 2023.
The first volume included episodes from studios Kamikaze Douga, Studio Colorido, Geno Studio, Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Production I.G, and Science Saru, with Trigger and Science Saru producing two episodes each.
The second volume included non-anime episodes from studios El Guiri, Cartoon Saloon, Punkrobot, Aardman, Studio Mir, Studio La Cachette, 88 Pictures, D’art Shtajio/Lucasfilm, and Triggerfish.
