*Sword of the Demon Hunter* Unveils New Visual, Announces 8 More Cast Members
The anime adaptation of Sword of the Demon Hunter has unveiled a new “Edo Arc” key visual via its official website.
The site also announced eight new cast members and shared their characters’ visuals.
New Cast Members:
- Aizawa Saya as Natsu
- Mineta Hiromu as Zenji
- Aizawa Masaki as Juuzou
- Ueda Youji as Kihee Owner
- Kayano Ai as Ofuu
- Yamashita Seiichirou as Miura Naotsugu
- Nabatame Hitomi as Yotaka
- Yusa Kouji as Akitsu Somegorou
The 14 volumes of Nakanishi Motoo‘s Sword of the Demon Hunter novel series were originally released between June 19, 2019, and November 22, 2023.
After being delayed in June 2024, Sword of the Demon Hunter will begin airing today, March 31, with a special one-hour episode and will run for two consecutive cours.

In the 11th year of Tenpo (1840), a great famine causes chaos, and demons disguise themselves as humans.
In the remote mountain village of Kadono, siblings Jinta and Suzune, who were once outsiders, live peacefully with the villagers.
Jinta serves as the protector of the priestess, Itsuki-hime.
During a demon-hunting mission, Jinta meets a mysterious demon who speaks of a far-off future.
As Jinta faces danger, Suzune supports him, while Itsuki-hime, fulfilling her duties as a priestess, is targeted by demons.
