The official website of the anime adaptation of Mizu Asato’s Aharen-san wa Hakarenai manga series has announced that Saeki Iori will voice the latest character, Henzan-sensei, in the upcoming second season.
The site also shared a short interview with Saeki Iori.
Saeki Iori:
- Q1. Please tell us your impression of this work.
- “The pair of Aharen-san and Raido-kun are so cute and healing, but the gags are funny, and I thought it was a truly colourful manga. Aharen-san is indeed cute, but characters like Ooshiro-san and Toubaru-sensei also have such an impact that I kept laughing the whole time.”
- Q2. Please tell us your impression of Henzan-sensei and your enthusiasm for the role.
- “I played the role of the rookie teacher, Henzan-sensei. It’s truly an honour to be part of the wonderful world of Aharen-san. I really love how Henzan-sensei is earnest and straightforward, charging forward. I would be very happy if you could watch her struggling as a teacher with her “Ahare” attitude.”

The site also announced that the ending theme song would be “Twilight” by shallm.
About Aharen-san wa Hakarenai:
Aharen Reina is a petite and quiet girl.
She’s not very good at judging the distance between her and others. Raidou, who sits next to her, feels a distance between them. But one day, when Raidou picks up an eraser that Aharen had dropped, they suddenly become closer!
The curtains rise on a youthful love comedy!
