Mobile Suit Gundam Live-Action Project Announced
Bandai Namco and Legendary Entertainment have agreed to co-finance a Hollywood live-action adaptation of the Mobile Suit Gundam series
The official website of Tomino Yoshiyuki and studio Sunrise’s Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has announced that Bandai Namco, the current owner of the franchise, and Legendary Entertainment, an American media and film production company, have signed an agreement to co-finance a Hollywood live-action film adaptation of the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
The site also announced that Bandai Namco Filmworks America, LLC (BNFA), a North American subsidiary, will be established on April 1, 2025, to produce the new live-action film adaptation of the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
