Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom Teaser Promo Video Released

The official X (Formerly Twitter) account of the anime adaptation of Nakajo Hisaya’s Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom manga series has released a new teaser promotional video.

The account also announced the three main cast members and shared a short interview with them.

Yamane Aya (voice of Ashiya Mizuki):

• Q1. How did you feel when chosen for the role?
  • “The moment I saw the audition materials for this work, it brought back memories of my youth watching the 2007 drama adaptation.
    That I would one day get to play Mizuki after becoming an adult… truly feels like a dream. When I heard that I had passed, I felt light as if I were floating, wondering, ‘Is this a dream?’ But I want to keep my feet on the ground and see this through properly!”
• Q2. Please tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the character.
  • “Mizuki is an honest and tomboyish girl with a bit of an airheaded side, full of energy.
    I’m already really excited to be able to play her! To everyone who loves the original work, those who spent their youth watching the drama, and to all Hana-Kimi fans, I will do my best to meet your expectations! I will do my best to deliver the excitement of those days back then with all my heart, so please look forward to the broadcast!”

Yashiro Taku (voice of Sano Izumi):

• Q1. How did you feel when chosen for the role?
  • “Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom is a work that continues to represent youth for so many people.
    From the moment of the audition, my heart was racing at the fact that this great title would be turned into an animation, so when it was finally decided, I was filled with happiness and excitement.
    Right now, I’m filled with the desire to deliver that same youthful feeling to as many people as possible.”
• Q2. Please tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the character.
  • “I want to cherish each and every feeling that Izumi Sano has, as well as the feelings directed toward him, as I perform. Also, I want to face this work with all my strength, along with the staff and my fellow cast members so that I can express this story’s vibrant charm to the fullest.”

Toya Kikunosuke (voice of Nakatsu Shuuichi):

• Q1. How did you feel when chosen for the role?
  • “Since this is a work I enjoyed in real-time as a member of my generation, I was filled with happiness when I realised I could be involved in its animation!
    I’m really excited about how I should perform and how the acting with my fellow cast members will turn out!”
• Q2. Please tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the character.
  • “Nakatsu is especially ‘adolescent’ among the characters, and his charm lies in the various emotions he shows.
    Now that I’m an adult, I want to remember and act out each of those feelings I’ve forgotten.
    I will do my best to liven up the work with Nakatsu, the mood maker!
