New Pokémon Day 2025 Commemorative Anime, Dragonite and the Mailman, Announced

The Pokémon Company has announced through Japanese public relations company PR Times that a new commemorative anime for Pokémon Day 2025, Dragonite and the Mailman, will debut on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on February 27.
CoMix Wave Films will produce Dragonite and the Mailman. The theme song will be “Kami Hikouki” by suis from Yorushika x Evan Call.
PR Times also unveiled the first two visuals of the anime.

About Dragonite and the Mailman:
Hana, a girl from the Paldea region, dreams of becoming a top delivery worker after being inspired by the Dragonite postal couriers.
One day, she is handed a letter with no address and suddenly finds herself rushing to track down the sender.
With her partner, Fuecoco, she runs around the city and finally finds the sender, a boy named Rio.
When she asks him about the letter, he explains that he wrote it to celebrate his father’s birthday.
However, his father works alone in the Kanto region, and today is already his father’s birthday!
