My Hero Academia

Over the years, “quirks”—newly discovered superpowers—have become increasingly common, with 80 percent of humanity developing abilities ranging from elemental manipulation to shapeshifting. However, this leaves 20 percent of the population, including Izuku Midoriya, without any powers at all.

Izuku, a determined middle school student, has always dreamed of becoming a hero. Despite his lack of quirks, he spends his time studying heroes and taking detailed notes on them. His determination eventually pays off when he encounters his favorite hero, All Might, who possesses a unique, inheritable quirk. All Might sees potential in Izuku and selects him as his successor.

After enduring intense training, Izuku joins UA High, a prestigious academy known for its superior hero training program. The incoming class is filled with promising students, and together with his quirky yet skilled classmates and the threat of a villainous group, Izuku is set to discover the true essence of being a hero.
