Satoru Fujinuma, a 29-year-old manga artist, possesses a unique ability he dubs “Revival,” which transports him back in time just minutes before a disaster is set to occur, allowing him to prevent it. This phenomenon has enabled him to save numerous lives. However, his life takes a drastic turn when he’s falsely accused of a murder. In response, his ability activates once more, sending him 18 years into the past, back to 1988.

During this time leap, Satoru discovers a link between the murder he’s accused of and the mysterious disappearance and death of his classmate, Kayo Hinazuki. Realizing he has the opportunity to alter both past and present outcomes, Satoru embarks on a quest to solve the mystery of what happened to Kayo and ultimately, to prevent it.
