Angel Beats!

Humanity has long puzzled over what happens after death, a mystery that starts to unravel for 17-year-old Yuzuru Otonashi. He wakes up without any memories in a strange middle realm that resembles a high school, existing between life and death.

In this odd afterlife, those who suffered premature and unfair deaths gather. They feel betrayed by God for their misfortunes on Earth and have created the Afterlife Battlefront. This group, led by Yuri Nakamura, is committed to defying the god-like student council president, Kanade “Angel” Tachibana. Otonashi is recruited by Nakamura to join their cause, aiming to seize control of their destinies.

However, Otonashi grows uncertain about the righteousness of their rebellion. He seeks to explore the motives of their adversary, delving into Angel’s perspective, and trying to find common ground in their shared destiny.
