The official website of the anime adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables novel, Anne Shirley, announced the anime will be released in April 2025 with 24 episodes in total.
The five main cast members were also announced:
- Inoue Honoka as Anne Shirley
- Nakamura Aya as Marilla Cuthbert
- Matsumoto Yasunori as Matthew Cuthbert
- Miyase Naoya as Gilbert Blythe
- Miyamoto Yume as Diana Barry

About Anne Shirley:
