Short Manga Nmeneko Receives Anime Adaptation

The newly released official website of the anime adaptation of SHIRIMOTO’s Nmeneko short manga series has released the first promotional video showcasing an April 2025 release date.

The two main cast members were announced:

• Han Megumi as Nmeneko
• Shimono Hiro as Usukuro

• Han Megumi (Voice of Nmeneko):
  “Nmeneko and Usukuro start talking! Thinking about how the two’s heartwarming and lovely daily life, as drawn by Shirimoto-sensei, will give rise to voices, words, sounds, movement, and timing makes me extremely happy. At times, they are like friends, at times like family, and at times like lovers, and it seems that only the two of them can make this relationship work, but in a good way. I hope to add a delicious touch to their ordinary relationship… Nmmeeeeee!!!”
