My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! Release Date Announced

The official X (Formerly Twitter) of the romcom My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! has released a new teaser trailer showcasing an October 2025 release date.

Six cast members were announced:

• Suzushiro Sayumi as Kohinata Iroha
• Ishiya Haruki as Ooboshi Akiteru
• Kusunoki Tomori as Tsukinomori Mashiro
• Saitou Souma as Kohinata Ozuma
• Kondou Reina as Kageishi Midori
• Hanazawa Kana as Kageishi Sumire

A short interview with Suzushiro Sayumi, Ishiya Haruki, and Kusunoki Tomori was also shared.

Suzushiro Sayumi (Voice of Kohinata Iroha):

• Q1. Please give a message to the fans who are looking forward to the TV anime, and tell us how excited you are for the future.
  “We’ve kept you waiting for so long! Finally, finally, things are starting to move!!! Ever since I played the role in the drama CD, I’ve been hoping to continue in the anime, so I’m really happy to once again work on My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! I will cherish the excitement I felt when I first read the original work, and do my best to make it enjoyable for everyone looking forward to it for a long time, and for those who recently became interested in it!!!”
  
• Q2. Please tell us your thoughts on voicing the anime teaser PV.
  “It’s been a long time since I last recorded for this role, so it was difficult to recall the atmosphere of the work and the excitement of Iroha, but I also had a lot of fun recording the dialogue! Playing Iroha is a high-calorie role, which was a good warm-up for me! (lol) Since this was a PV, there were fewer lines and it was relatively calm, but I think that in the main story, an even more crazy and high-tension Iroha will appear, so I’m looking forward to the recording!”

  “We’ve kept you waiting for so long!!! I’m only able to say ‘in the future’ thanks to the efforts of the staff, and I’m very happy to see the work develop. There are some crazy comedy parts and a lot of fast-paced exchanges, so I’m going to watch as many Manzai acts as I can while I still can. I’m looking forward to acting while having fun.”

  “It reminded me of the time of the drama CD. When I saw the two people in front of me recording the voices of the characters, I thought it was very intense. Also, when there are a lot of funny people, there are a lot more variations in the tsukkomi. Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing them in action.”

  “Sorry to have kept you waiting! Since the announcement that it would receive an anime adaptation, I’ve been steadily preparing myself mentally…! It’s been a long time since the original PV came out, but I’m full of energy after waiting so long! I hope you’ll look forward to the broadcast.”

  “It’s been a while since I last played Mashiro, so I was recording while trying to remember everything. In this teaser PV, Mashiro is a little shy and tsundere rather than cold, so I tried to act in a cute way that would make your heart skip a beat. I’m looking forward to seeing my true cold personality in the animation! I’ll be prepared!”

  “‘Cutting a show after three episodes is tasteless these days. Impossible. Uncool. Lame… But I’m sure any sane person will enjoy it to the end, right?’ You won’t understand Mashiro and the others’ charm unless you watch the whole thing!”

About My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me!
Ooboshi Akiteru is a high school student who has dismissed all aspects of youth as inefficient, with no need for familiarity or a girlfriend.
And yet for some reason, his best friend’s younger sister, Kohinata Iroha, is always hanging out at his house.
His bed is taken over! A sudden, teasing flirtation! A storm of annoying interactions rages on!
Iroha is a pure and popular honour student at school, but she will only tease Akiteru.
Akiteru is at the mercy of this high-tension, annoyingly cute girl, Iroha, when Mashiro, a cold-hearted girl, appears in front of him.
This leads to a drastic change in the daily lives of Akiteru, Iroha, and their friends!?
