Spin-Off Anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray Release Date Announced

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the spin-off sports drama anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray has released a promotional video showcasing an April 2025 release date for the first of two cours.

Four new cast members were announced:

• Ise Mariya as Fujimasa March
• Konishi Katsuyuki as Kitahara Jou
• Seto Momoko as Berno Light
• Oozora Naomi as Tamamo Cross

Ise Mariya (Fujimasa March):

“I’m Mariya Ise, and I will be voicing Fujimasa March in Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray! Um… to be an Uma Musume…!!! W-w-what?! I was so happy when I heard that I passed the audition! I love horses, and I’ve gone horseback riding to Ushiku in Ibaraki Prefecture. I was surprised by the size of the horses, moved by the glossiness of their coat, and instantly fell in love with their gentle eyes. I remember vividly everything from brushing them to communicating with them, to the height of the view when I rode them, the difference in elevation every time I walked, and their strength that seemed to blow me away just by going a little faster… This time, I would do my best as an “Uma Musume”! Please look forward to it!”

Konishi Katsuyuki (Kitahara Jou):

“It’s Uma Musume! It’s the Uma Musume I’ve dreamed of!!!! I want to tell everyone, that dreams do come true! I was a trainer in the Uma Musume game. Then, somehow, I ended up playing the role of Kitahara in Cinderella Gray!!!!! Is this a dream??? No, it’s reality!!! I’m so happy! I’m happy, but I’m also nervous because it’s my favourite work! Let’s all support Oguri Cap and Cinderella Gray together, thank you!!!!!”

Seto Momoko (Berno Light):

“Nice to meet you all! I’m Seto Momoko, and I’ll be playing the role of Berno Light. Uma Musume Cinderella Gray is filled with a lot of love and passion. I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful production. Berno Light is kind-hearted and honest, good at making jokes, funny, pretty, hardworking, and has hidden strength inside… Her charms are too numerous to describe here! I’ll put my soul into the role so that everyone can enjoy watching her overcome hardships and grow together with Oguri Cap!”

Oozora Naomi (Tamamo Cross):

“I have run together with Oguri Cap, played by Takayanagi-chan, on the live stage many times up until now. Now that we can run together in the anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, I am so excited that the time has finally come! I have to approach this with the determination to completely crush the monster Oguri Cap, and to be the ‘real thing’.
