The official website of the mystery adventure visual novel Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo has released the first trailer.
Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo by Success Corporation will release in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Steam, and will have Japanese, English, and Chinese (Simplified) language options.
About Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo:
Kotarou is a 17-year-old boy living in modern-day Japan. One day, he is caught up in a supernatural phenomenon in Shibuya and loses consciousness. When he wakes up, he is in a space that resembles a Japanese period drama. Kotarou is informed by “God” that he is in the Yoshiwara red light district in Edo, the capital of Japan in the 19th century, and that he has died and travelled back in time to the Edo period as a soul. Not knowing why he arrived in this era or how to attain nirvana, Kotarou wanders around Yoshiwara searching for clues to solve this “mystery”.
Eventually, he encounters the murder of a courtesan and plays the role of a “detective” to solve the murder, but he encounters several bizarre murders…
