From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! Release Date Announced in New Trailer

The official website of the comedy fantasy anime From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! has released a promotional video showcasing a January 9 release date.
The video features the opening theme “Choose!!!” by Cidergirl.

Two new cast members have been announced:

• Kurosawa Tomoyo as Tondabayashi Hinako
• Honda Takako as Tondabayashi Mitsuko

• Q: What are your impressions of the anime?
  • “‘They’re trying their best to be silly!’ I couldn’t stop laughing while reading the materials because it was in full color from the beginning of the dubbing and the casting was so extravagant. It’s entertainment at its finest.”
• Q: What do you think of Hinako and your role in the anime?
  • “I felt that I was given a role that was perfect for me and that I could do the most for this work. I dubbed with a senior actor I respect, but for some reason, I didn’t feel nervous and it was just so much fun, which I think is the mysterious charm of this work. I encourage everyone to get lost in this other world.”

• Q: What are your impressions of the anime?
  • “First of all, the title was hard to believe (laughs). I read the original work, and the characters, including Kenzaburou, have irresistible personalities and conversations that make you want to make fun of everything…and I was given a great role where I can actually make fun of them. I’m sure it will be a well-paced animated work with endless laughs, and I’m excited.”
• Q: What do you think of Mitsuko and your role in the anime?
  • “We’re exactly the same age. I was watching the pop-out animation as her, and it was perfect. Kenzaburou’s situation is tough, but I hope I can portray the positivity of both mother and daughter well.”
